My passion for Lighting Design is tied to how it explores perception, how we feel about what we see and what we can accept as reality or truth. My goal as a Lighting Designer is to create striking, thought-provoking work.

Krista designs for theater, dance, opera, and everything in between. She is a third year MFA candidate in Lighting Design at the Yale School of Drama, and holds her BA in Drama from San Francisco State University. Upcoming design work includes, William Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale" directed by Aneesha Kudtarkar at Yale's Iseman Theater starting March 29th.
